Your Future Begins Here...
So I'm arriving early or staying the weekend after my workshop, anything exciting to do?
Just a short walk from the hotel is a place you can learn to sail a real America's Cup yacht? This is something you'll never forget and as part of the workshop an instructor will be shooting on the yacht as a part of the workshop.
How cool is that? Say hello to
Steve Hammond. He's Head
of Operations there and
Australian. G'day Mate
Join us at our workshops location in St. Maarten. Spend the week with us and learn the latest in 2K technology. After the initial day of lecture and familiarization of the camera setup/operation and a location scout, the rest of the week is spent creating beautiful digital cinematography of what St. Maarten (Dutch or French) has to offer.
On-location, assisted by industry pros, you'll quickly master the proper operation of IT based camera technology. Each evening the footage is viewed and downloaded to check your progress from the days shoot. After shooting for two days, we spend the remainder of your time assembling your demo reel to take back with you.
The last evening is a viewing session to look over everyone's efforts for the week and evaluate the visuals.
Students will receive a certificate of completion and a Blu-Day HD of their work during the week.
Its all about immersion. Total Immersion!
As for where you can stay while attending the workshops? We’ve worked that out for you ... while you're welcome to stay at any hotel, the Pasanggrahan Royal Guest House is right on the water in Simpson Bay. All the lectures and viewing sessions will be held there. We want you to spend as much time as possible on the camera and in the field.
Where do I eat while at the workshops?
Breakfast Lunch and Dinner are always
avaiable at the Pasanggrahan, but we
suggest Chesterfields, just a short walk
from the hotel. (Again, at a special rate for workshop attendees.)
