Perhaps MOST importantly, included with each mount are ZennaTek’s radical ROD MOD ADAPTERS. They enable you to thread in our iris rods (15mm, 19mm pairs OR 15mm-to-19mm pairs) and lock down into offsets of as little as 2mm all the way up to the 20mm separation between a “mini” and a “wide” configuration, PLUS everything in between, to achieve a perfect “optical axis” alignment for any camera system.

Basic “ZennaTek™ Assumptions” underlie the creation of ALL our products. We assume you will be shooting in the absolute worst of conditions, we assume you have to carry gear long distances so that “every ounce counts” and that when you get there whatever you’ve carried had better be highly adaptable, nearly indestructible and collectively work together to enable you to ultimately come back with “How’d-you-get-that?!” images.  We also always design to make every single product "incomparable" ... but you’ve probably had to use similar products to those described below so we heartily encourage you to compare theirs against ours.

Now to get ALL these elements - plus our ZennaTek environmental housings - to be mountable to virtually any pan & tilt head, tripod or base, we created the FLASHPLATE.

Insert either 15mm lens support rods in the mini-mount position, or 19mm rods in the wide position into the FLASHPLATE, then mount your camera atop either our Mini or Wide-Mounts to then slide them down those rods to perfectly balance and position before tightening it all down with a twist of the base wheel of the mount and the back wheel of the FLASHPLATE.

Then you can mount all that atop most anything else by screwing into a multitude of 1/4”-20 or 3/8”-16 holes within the sliding insert of the 16” or 20” FLASHPLATE dovetail base  - or directly insert into various dovetail pan & tilt heads. Basically, we’ve got every option covered.

In addition, the back platform contains a stainless steel clamping mechanism for firmly gripping the “heel piece” of shoulder-mount cameras with just a twist of the back wheel.

We then combined ALL of these products into two totally complete “Infinity Systems” - centered around our 15mm iris rods and the Mini-mount, or 19mm iris rods with the Wide-mount - so that no matter what the conditions, camera systems, or tripod/head we provide you with the ultimate camera support solution. 

The 15mm version comes with a 16” (40.5cm) dovetail base, and the 19mm version comes with a 20” (51cm) dovetail base as well as a camera support lifter that can allow even the heaviest of cameras to be mounted.

Let’s begin with something as seemingly simple as lens support rods (aka "iris rods"). Existing systems could not meet our standards so we created our own from custom-extruded, aircraft-grade aluminum that we then were able to hard chrome (i.e: 70% the hardness of a diamond) and end-tapped so they’re able to be threaded together – whether our 15mm-to-15mm, 19mm-to-19mm OR 15mm-to-19mm!

Then, so you no longer have to lug around a huge, heavy assortment of single-length rods, we only sell ours in either a 15mm or 19mm kit - within a heavy denier nylon fold-over pouch - containing a set of 3", 8" and 12" pairs plus a 2" pair with a soft end cap, so you can then combine them to create up to FOURTEEN different lengths! (i.e: 2/3/5/8/10/11/12/14/15/17/20/22/23/25”)

Our patent-pending ZennaTek™ Mini-mount and Wide-mounts not only enable you to mount any camera with a 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 base threaded hole, but you can also attach various mounting plates with our two self-contained 3/8" Sachtler screws for the widest array of mounting options; making ours the first truly “universal” bridge plate mounts.

Our “Mini” is configured for 15mm lens support rods in the so-called "mini-mount" (60mm apart) configuration while the “Wide” version can hold both those AND 19mm iris rods in the standard 100mm wide separation.  Our mounts tighten down to ALL iris rods with a twist of the single base wheel. (Hence no more frustration with old-fashioned side levers that are limited and inconsistent in their holding strength.) 

The front alignment pins - for either

1/4” or 3/8” base mount cameras are

spring-loaded and drop down within the frame when either is not in use. All the mounting screws are self-contained.
